Deep Creek Lake Tournament Recap – April 27, 2025
Another Deep Creek Lake tournament is in the books! Thanks to everyone who came out and competed on Sunday. It was a grind out there—with a cold front, high skies, and the second season of the 18″–21″ slot limit all adding to the challenge.
1st Place – Frank Indoff & Jon Stanek
- 5 Fish – 12.25 lbs
- Took the top spot thanks in part to two fish over the slot—a rare feat on a tough day!
2nd Place – Carl Fekula & Guy Kaloz
- 4 Fish – 9.50 lbs
- Landed the tournament’s Big Fish with a tank weighing 5.40 lbs!
3rd Place – Tyler Brown & James Roberts
- 5 Fish – 7.77 lbs
The slot regulations continue to make strategy key and the post-front conditions didn’t do anyone any favors.
