L&C Fall of 2013
The NWA held their first fishing tournament of the 2014 Tournament Series, October 20, 2013 at Lewis and Clark Lake. The tournament was held in conjunction with the NUCOR fall tournament and the NWA Fall Fun Event. The tournaments drew 52 teams to start off the season.
Finishing in 1st place was the team of Woerth and Paul with a weight of 19.12 lbs, 2nd place was the team of Jake and Gene Brueggemann, 3rd went to the brother team of Ryken’s, 4th went to Schroeder/Engel and rounding out the top 5 was Kallhoff and Topp.
The Fall tournament and Fun Event had the worst weather but the teams and members still had a great time together. The fun event and rules meeting was held at CJ’s on the lake and we estimated that there were over 150 people there for the combined events. A thanks goes out to Bear at CJ’s for holding this event.
Beginning the 2014 year, Chuck Pavelka will be taking over the reigns as the NWA Tournament Director. Let’s help Chuck with this endeavor. Thanks need to go out to Shada, Hettler, Hesse, Hankla, Smutny, Kuehl, Betty Clayton and Chad Warriner for helping put on this event.
