WWA Holds 4th Qualifier

World Walleye Association (WWA) held its fourth Illinois qualifying tournamentDSC_0067 Sunday September 15th. The team of Jasen Shine (Lake Villa, IL) and Ed Michniewicz (Ingleside, IL) took top honors with a five fish basket of 4.58 lbs. on a tough bite.  Jasen and Ed have qualified to fish in the Cabeleas NTC next year on Green Bay as they were also the Walleye Federation side pot winners. Big Fish honors belongs to Kevin Willis and Keith Volkmer.  The teams fishing live bait seemed to out produce the trollers on this very tough day today where no six fish limits were brought in. * Overall 2 day winner of Championship will receive a NTC invitation for the 2012 event!
Entry deposit asked for (not mandatory) 21 days prior to event to make it easier on us for planing!
You may fish by yourself.

Kinzua Outdoors 8th  Annual Take A Veteran Fishing Event (or any persons who has served our country)
Saturday August 10th, 2013
Entry fee is $30.00 for first two people per boat, $10.00 each additional person per boat.
Tournament hours will be 8:00 am – 2:00 pm. You may start later or quit early if needed.
If you are willing to take a Veteran or are a Veteran in need of a partner with a boat please call and let me know.
Food and beverages included.

Entry fee is $20.00 for 1 guardian and one youth, $5.00 for every additional person per group.
*** 1 can good donation per kid for charity is being asked for (not mandatory) (top kid or group to be recognized)
Tournament hours will be from 8:00am – 2:00pm. You may start later, or quit early if needed.
You may fish from a boat or from shore.
6 categories: Walleye, Northern Pike, Perch, Carp (sucker), White Bass & Trout.
Food and Beverages included, as well as added prizes. All entry fees are used for added prizes!!!

You may pre register or register the morning of the event at willow bay boat ramp.
2 categories included in entry fee: Bass and Walleye. You may win both.
Tournament will be hosted out of the Corydon Fire Hall.
Food and beverages will be available.

Bay de Noc Walleye Club Wal-Mart Classic Results

The Bay De Noc Walleye Club announces the results for the annual Bay’s De Noc Wal Mart Classic that took place on August 11th. Calmer lake conditions made the bite a little more difficult, however several teams made their way to the stage with big walleye’s, the largest weighing over 9 pounds. The point race heated up for the NTC spots with one event to go. Eleven of the 16 teams were eligible for the NTC spots. In first place was the team Alimenti & Martin with 15.5 pounds. Second place team Cassidy & Corbett weighed 14.5 pounds. The third place team of Neubauer & Tourangeau weighed 14.15 pounds. In 4th place former NTC champs Carol & Glenn Chenier weighed 13.7 pounds. In 5th place team Porath & Hanisko weighed 11.85 pounds. In 6th place team Schram & Schram weighed two fish totaling 11.55 pounds. Team Koprash & Parker came in 7th with 9.35 pounds. Team Houghton & Houghton finished 8th with 7.3 pounds. Team Plourde & Jack placed 9th with 6.5 pounds. Former NTC champion Joe Manns and Larson weighed 4.35 pounds for 10th place. Team Gartland & Kallio finished 11th with 2.45 pounds. The remainder of the field zero’d; Kositzky/Anderson, Haney/Bourdeau, Anderson/Kallio, Wery/Wilson, and Sliva/Sliva. The next NTC qualifier the Cliff D’Arcy Memorial Walleye Tournament is scheduled for Sunday September 8th at the North Shore Boat Launch in Escanaba, Mi.
