2024 Angler Message to NTC teams from Jeff Kelm and Lorain Port Authority!

Championship week is here! On behalf of Bass Pro Shops, Cabela’s, The Walleye Federation and Lorain Port Authority, welcome!

There are a few notes I’d like to pass along to you before the rules meeting on Wednesday.

  1. The Ohio DNR will be available Wednesday afternoon at Black River Landing (Rules meeting location) to perform vessel checks for you, if you wish. They understand that some of the teams may have never fished Lake Erie or federal waterways and want to be a helping hand in keeping you safe. They are not out to write tickets if you are missing an item but want to make sure you have what you need.
  1. Attached is a flyer for you to review. The QR code will direct you to the transient booking platform. They are offering 15% off to the group when they use code: CNFT2024 at checkout. They will also provide trailer storage at $100 for the week/weekend.

Trailer storage will be discounted to $50 for anyone with a transient reservation.

 

Boat Launch:

$5 launch fee

They will be stationed at Black River with a mobile credit card reader and cash.

One of thier team members will do the same at the Lakeside launch.

If you would like to pay early, you are more than welcome to stop by the marina office where they will provide you with a small hangtag to throw in their vehicle.
