Our schedule for the 2013 season is as follows.
1st Cabelas qualifier – April 21st Wolf River out of Fort Fremont Marine in Fremont WI
2nd Cabelas qualifier -May 5th Green Bay (lower Bay) out of Green Bay Metro Boat landing in Green Bay WI
3rd Cabelas qualifier – June 21st Lake Winnebago out of Calumet County Park near Brothertown WI
4th Cabelas qualifier – July 21st Green Bay out of Breakwater Park in Oconto WI
Stuefen, Holten Win Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit’s Detroit River Tournament

Trenton, Mich.—April 14, 2013—After taking the lead on the first day of competition with a record-breaking 49-pound, 10-ounce basket, Iowans Marty Stuefen and Carl Holten hung on to win the Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit’s Detroit River and western Lake Erie tournament at Trenton, Michigan.
“It’s an awesome feeling,” said Holten, of Harpers Ferry. “We were in first place on Day One and managed to bring it home.” The team’s monstrous first-day catch made MWC history, eclipsing the Circuit’s all-time single-day basket record of 48.95 pounds, set by Jason Kopf, of Avon Lake, Ohio, and Mike Miller, of Brunswick, Ohio. Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit Visits Detroit River And Western Lake Erie April 12-14

Ponca City, Okla.—April 8, 2013—Trophy walleyes and hefty payouts will be at hand April 12-14 when the Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit visits the Detroit River and western Lake Erie at Trenton, Michigan.
With 122 two-person teams signed up, the payout is sitting at more than $62,000 in cash and prizes. Sponsor bonuses including Cabela’s Angler Cash, Ranger Cup, Lowrance HDS Gen2/Elite-7, Berkley Baits and Optima True Blue add thousands more in cash and prizes to the total. Plus, the MWC Big Fish Pot could add up to $6,600 to the tally.
