AuSable, Mich.—July 24, 2021— The All American 25 teams at the 2021 Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s will be kept onshore for the final day. With forecasted swells of 10ft and posted Small Craft advisory anglers will not be allowed to fish. All anglers were notified in advance since 3 days were scheduled for this event that no blow day would be added.
NTC tournament director Jeff Kelm felt it was the right call to make to keep anglers safe “It’s never an easy call to make. These teams all want to compete for the opportunity to win, but we need to be sure they can live to fish another day.”
Based on the team’s standing after two days of fishing is what the final results for the event will be. Awards will be handed out at 9:30 am (Eastern), with the public is welcome to join.
The Walleye Federation, based in Ponca City, Oklahoma, manages the qualifying process via TWF sanctioned walleye clubs all across the US and Canada and co-produces the event alongside the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Marketing Sponsorship Team.
