Scheduled on June 30th from 7am to 2pm, Walleye Heroes will be a no entry fee, pro/am style tournament featuring experienced tournament walleye anglers fishing with two youth co-anglers in a fun and fishing education focused environment. BOARDMAN, OH – Walleye Madness Tournaments (WMT) will be offering an expanded tournament schedule for their 2013 season. The expansion includes additional tournaments and a host of exciting opportunities for walleye fishing enthusiasts.
“We’re excited about our 2013 season” states John Csizmadia, Director of Walleye Madness Tournaments. “Our sponsors and our affiliation with The Walleye Federation have allowed us to put together an affordable series of tournaments that offers something for everyone interested in walleye fishing.”
Walleye Madness Tournaments are sponsored by Buckeye Sports Center, Lund Boats and Mercury Marine. The tournament series offers a low entry fee, rewarding payouts, sponsor bonus payouts, and multiple opportunities to qualify for the Cabela’s National Team Championship.
“We had great response to our events last season” states Csizmadia. He adds, “For 2013 we’ve lowered our entry fee, added more bonus payouts, and increased the chances to qualify for the Cabela’s NTC. The only thing left is to throw in the kitchen sink!” Continue reading
2013 Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit Off To A Strong Start With Record Number Of MWC Early Bird Premier Team Registrations
Standard Registration For All Events Is Still Open
The Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit, now under the ownership of The Walleye Federation (TWF), announced today early bird Premier Team registrations are up 25% over the record setting numbers of 2012. Premier Team registration closed February 15.
“Last year, before we acquired the Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit, MWC had an all-time high on premier teams and total entries into all events combined as far back as I can find records,” Said, Robert Cartlidge with TWF. “The MWC staff did an excellent job of laying a great foundation.
